Laura, Brian, Dave and Kathy have all been here. It's the closest thing to the authentic Italian food in Reno. It's a smaller space so it's recommended you make a reservation if you want to eat at a typically popular time. The staff are all really nice and the owners are often there. There are some dishes you can order as is but there are also a lot of mix and match options, i.e., you pick the pasta, the sauce, and the protein (including tofu). They don't serve huge portions but you won't be left hungry!
